VCOS Board Endorses Chief Ernest Mitchell for U.S. Fire Administrator
Sept. 30… In a letter addressed to the Honorable Joseph Lieberman and the Honorable Susan Collins, committee chair and ranking member respectively of the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, the members of the VCOS Board of Directors have formally endorsed Chief Ernest Mitchell to become the next United States Fire Administrator. The board encourages all VCOS members to send your own letters in support of Chief Mitchell’s nomination; he is superbly qualified for this position.
